Which in my opinion is an amazing thing. A trend might start in Paris and reach the outskirts of Africa and vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The world is a global village. Trends go viral in a short span of time and die as quickly. It all depends on how they connect with the audience. Presenting a list of trends that took social media by storm:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Stories: <\/strong>The day Instagram and Facebook got updated with the \u201cstories\u201d feature it took the internet by a storm. It is a pivotal part of social media now. People post stories on a daily basis and these stories have a lot of features in them as well, eg. Polls, ask me a question, etc.<\/li><li><strong>Videos:<\/strong> Video content is the king of social media features. From the world famous \u201ctik-toks\u201d to the brand new \u201cReels\u201d feature, video content is dominating the feeds. If your brand does not provide video content you are making a huge mistake because most people prefer watching videos rather than reading posts.<\/li><li><strong>Influencers:<\/strong> Influencers are content creators with a huge fan following. There are a lot of brands that take the help of these content creators for \u201cInfluencer Marketing\u201d which is a well-established tactic and will only rise in the future. Your consumers trust these influencers and the influencers know what kind of content will connect with your audience.
