The not so magical ingredients you\u2019ll need to perfect your magical sand:
1. Play sand
2. Corn starch
3. Water
4. Dish soap<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than the above mentioned items, you will also need water, mixing bowls, a stirrer or a spatula for easy mixing and some nice preferably gel food colouring for added extra effect!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once you have your equipment and ingredients assembled and are ready to get cracking mix the play sand and cornstarch together first and make a dry mixture to prevent the formation of lumps on adding water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To start mixing the wet and dry ingredients start with small quantities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then add the dish soap to the water in another mixing bowl and stir until it\u2019s thoroughly combined and just a little bubbly. Add the mixture now to the dry ingredients, the sand and cornstarch mixture. Mix it really well to make a smooth mixture. If the mixture looks a little too dry and flakey just add some more liquid until it gets to your desired consistency. Let the mixture rest for about two to three hours and then you have your kinetic magical sand ready to go!
