Many people are staying online more actively than in their offline life. This has given a rise to a question: are we getting more disconnected from our offline life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This article will explore the possibility if you can feel better by having a break from your social media life.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>The real selfie<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These days youngsters are obsessed with their selfies. But is that selfie really the real self? Many social media apps provide you with filters and built-in photo editors that make you look prettier or handsome. Every one of us wants to look great and this mindset has given rise to narcissism and external appearance has gained more importance than inner beauty. If you try to look within yourself, you will find out life flows within and without you.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>The closer one<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Although social media has brought those people who are far away from us near, the same has taken the ones closer to us far away. If you try to take a break from social media you can build a real relationship with the people around you which is more satisfying than the virtual world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>No need for validation<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Like, follow, and share, these three words have become essential when you are using social media every time. The problem is many of us have become dependent on the validation from the others that we get on our social media handle. If you want someone to appreciate you, then you can go out and experience real people or help them through charity.
