In the recent years, Instagram has turned out to be a very trendy and hip app. It is one app that has connected well to the millennials and the youth in general. Every other person you know is on Instagram. This Instagram culture has given rise to the so-called world of \u201cinfluencers\u201d and \u201ccontent creators.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also said that there is some or the other update everyday on Instagram. These updates can be major, interface changing or so minute that we don\u2019t even notice them. Instagram always comes up with something new or unique, or just blatantly copies its counterparts. Remember when Instagram launched stories for the very first time? It was a topic of debate as to how it has \u201ccopied\u201d Snapchat\u2019s algorithm and how this is a complete money-making tool. But, overtime we have grown to love stories, haven\u2019t we? We use it even more extensively than Snapchat. The reason? Instagram provided us with more features in the stories section itself, more that Snapchat ever could. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

People always find a way to use these features creatively and they then tend to get \u201cviral.\u201d We, who use Instagram regularly, sometimes feel the need to amp up our feed or get more likes. So, here are some creative ways in which you can use the new Instagram features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reels:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most recent addition to the Instagram family are the reels. They were launched soon after the infamous Tik Tok ban in India and this gained a lot of eyeballs. The reels are very similar to Tik Tok videos and the editing options are also same. People have found out fun and creative ways to use these reels and they have come up with some amazing content. For instance, there are people making fashion videos and showing dress changes with fancy editing. Editing is the key while using reels. You can choose the editing options from Instagram itself. A smart move played out by Instagram is that they made TVCs especially on how to use reels. So, take hints!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stories:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stories are very generalized and have many little-little features within itself. These are a great means of communication as well as post sharing and promotion. Here are a few features from the stories section that you can use easily:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create Mode: <\/strong>this is one feature of the story that is basic yet impactful. Create mode is basically a grid in which you can upload multiple pictures at one in a collage format. A creative way to use this is that you can create 4 or 6 different pieces of one picture and upload it with the create mode with grid lines in between. This is a great way to create something fun and interesting. <\/li>
  2. Filters: <\/strong>filters today are all the rage. People are creating their own filters as well as using the pre-made ones. The filters like, \u201cwhat does my future say\u201d have become very famous and have been used extensively. You could do a fun Q&A using these filters. <\/li>
  3. Support card:<\/strong> the support card is Instagram\u2019s way of lending support to local and small businesses. With this card you can promote your own business or promote your peers. What you can do is, while uploading stories or carrying out a chat on Instagram, you could just plug-in this card and let people know about your business. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
