The vaccine was something that we were desperately waiting for, and now that it is here, there are still many things lined up that must be accomplished before it comes to us. The pandemic hit on a global level, which is why India is not the only country that suffered. This also means that we aren\u2019t the only country that needs the COVID-19 vaccine. This is something that is needed and required on a global level, which is why prioritizing the vaccine recipients is extremely tough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To start, every life of every individual is equal and so are their lives. We cannot differentiate between people when it comes to saving their lives or protecting them, as humanity is above everything. But, being practical, there is not enough vaccine manufactured that will be enough for everyone, which is why prioritizing is vital. One of the most common ways as to which the distribution can be done is based on money, but then it would be unfair for all the doctors, nurses, as well as sanitary workers that worked even when the world was comfortable with the luxury of their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saving the health workers as well as frontline workers and prioritizing them is important for the sheer reason that they not only will get their lives saved but they have to power to protect others as well. WHO has provided certain guidelines, but has also allowed other countries to follow different prioritizing patterns and the countries are also allowed to make their guidelines. Every country is different and will follow a different pattern. But, the fact remains the same, that every life is important and we must try to protect and keep all the people safe. The vaccine manufacture is still going on, but it is not enough to satisfy everyone which is why prioritizing recipients is a must.
