He has a foundation in his name set up to help people suffering from poverty and homelessness. He has even opened another chapter of his charity foundation of Soul Kitchen and the donations from this endeavor, which were over $5 million, went towards building houses for homeless veterans. Not only that, he went on to give his proceeds from one of his songs to help train service dogs which are very important for disabled people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
