It allows you to take a look at life from the perspective of another person. You witness their hardships and struggles along with their vigor and conquests. Thus, it gives you the great privilege of spectating life from an extremely different perspective and makes you appreciate your own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of non-profit organizations make themselves devoted to helping those who suffer from hardships in life. They look for volunteers who are compassionate and offer them the privilege of an opportunity to lend a helping hand. By sharing what the volunteers have to offer, they nurture and discover their best selves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every person in this world wishes and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Being listened to and feeling valued is one of the greatest wants of human life. In the spirit of charity, one attempts to do just that for other people. Charitable behavior and its golden rule advise that one must treat their colleagues, neighbors, and family how they wish to be treated. The golden rule shows how one can apply righteousness and empathy in their life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several studies have revealed that being generous makes one happy and healthy while promoting their social connections. Being generous also evokes gratitude in people and is highly contagious.
