Best ways to ease the anxiety from lack of social interaction.

Not everyone is extrovert. Not everyone has the ability to gel with people quickly. Not everyone likes crowds. And it’s completely okay. A lot of people are reserved and do take time to open up. Social Anxiety is common and completely normal. There are a lot of ways to be comfortable and ease that out.

Firstly, be open to trying out things. It’s a little advice but goes a really long way. Do something that you have never done before, this helps one to be more confident and expressive. Let’s be Ross from Friends and decide “one new thing” to do everyone. It is a great way to have fun and enjoy little things in life.

Fall in love with yourself. Self-love is the best medication and the best therapy. Loving yourself and accepting the way you are is enough. This not only makes you more confident but also helps other accept you and love you the way you are.

Adopt a healthier lifestyle. Eat good food, meditate and do what you like. A perfect way to find yourself and take care of yourself. If you are happy and joyous, no social interaction can make you awkward or make you feel strange.

Ask for help. There is nothing wrong with asking others for them. Those who love you, who care for you will not judge you. In fact, they will be there with you when you need them the most. Consider contacting someone who knows about mental health and talk to them. This will make you feel good about yourself.

Lastly, Breathe. Yes, we just take in oxygen every day, we never really breathe. Breathe and relax. This is something that has become less common especially in our hectic lifestyle. Take out time for yourself and breathe and say “I love myself and I can conquer the world”.

These simple and little things are the easiest and the best ways to ease anxiety from lack of social interaction.
