The brands that were earlier just concentrating on just their products and line of products have been venturing into completely different products to fit with the current situation. The consumers have been spending less on things that have been other than their sheer requirement which why to still be in the business, the companies have been constantly uping their strategies.

Let’s take the example of Amazon. Amazon came with delivering groceries now along with other products and this increased during the pandemic. The brand knew that groceries come in basic requirement and now that people are not leaving their houses, what better than supplying them with what they need at their doorstep. Similarly, Zomato also started to supply groceries along with their restaurant services.

Along with that, Asian paints and Nerolac came up with their hand sanitizers and sprays because that is the need of the hour and that is what is in demand. Even street vendors started selling masks. These are simple examples yet prove the point.

The situation at the moment is forcing people to change their standard of living and also their business patterns. The new normal is new in every sense. But some bold steps are required to bring the brand back into business. A lot of brands have suffered heavy losses which is why taking advantage of the current situation is the key.
