Celebrities That Failed As Entrepreneurs

We love movies which is why it is natural for all of us to love the celebrities that work in them. We often end up having an attachment to them, be it their personal lives or their professional life. We try to copy and replicate them, be it getting inspired by their philosophies or their fashion. There are a lot of celebrities that have their labels and brands, but all of those brands do not always work. Consumers are really smart, if they like something they will buy it regardless of the brand or the celebrity name attached to it and if they do not like it, they will end up rejecting it. So, just the name of the celebrity attached to the brand is not sure to work. Let’s have a look at some of the brands by celebrities that failed to impress people.

Rheson: Rheson is a brand by the Kapoor siblings, Rhea and Sonam, which is why the name of the brand is Rheson. Being the super stylish duo, they came up with their brand in collaboration with Shopper’s Stop but it failed to impress the audience. It was extremely hyped and was all over the media, considering we know how incredibly stylish and fashionable these sisters are. But the label wasn’t as impressive and neither were the prices. The pieces in the collection aren’t as affordable which is one of the main reasons that the brand didn’t do well.

Nush: Anushka Sharma came out with her label called Nush in 2017. The brand is all about comfort and style, which is very similar to how Anushka dresses in real life. Nush was heavily advertised and people were extremely excited about it, but unfortunately, the brand didn’t live up to expectations. Her collection seems rather basic with simple clothes and not much experimentation. When someone as stylish as Anushka launched a clothing line, the expectations were quite high, but it ended up being quite disappointing.

All About You: All About You is a clothing line that was launched by the leggy lass, Deepika Padukone in 2015. This brand was in collaboration with Myntra as well as Jabong, but it didn’t end up doing very well. It is extremely expensive which is one of the many reasons that it wasn’t as liked by the people. The quality of the clothes wasn’t as appealing as well as it wasn’t marketed that well either.

House of Pataudi: As the name itself suggests, House of Pataudi is a brand launched by the Nawab, Saif Ali Khan. The label caters to providing ethnic outfits for occasions. Being the Nawab as well as the fashionable man himself, we expected the label to be unique, charming, and of high-quality, but it didn’t live up to the high expectations. It is quite an average brand with basic pieces. The brand was in collaboration with Myntra, but it didn’t satisfy the audience as much.
