Cute DIY ideas for your little ones to enjoy their day at home.

This pandemic has been difficult on all of us, especially little ones. Knowing the condition of the outside world, we understand that going out is so risky and life-threatening but how to make those innocent ones understand. They are so used to going out and playing with their friends or going to the park to take in some fresh air, and now being locked in the house all-of-a-sudden can be tough for them. But there are a few fun DIY ideas that will keep them busy and also happy.

Let’s go back to our childhood and revive the memories of vegetable painting. Remember when we used to paint without using any brushes? This is something that would be so fun for all the little ones. Just chop some veggies and drop them into paint and put them on a drawing sheet. It will create some stunning and intricate patterns that even brushes cannot attain. This is such a fun little DIY for all your younger ones as it will keep them busy for hours on end.

Another cute DIY is making a pencil-holder using some bangles. This is again something that we all did as children. All you need is some bangles and a round cardboard piece that is the exact size of the bangles. Just stick the bangles on top of the cardboard piece one by one till you reach the desired height. If you want to make it more colorful, go for some colorful bangles and if you want to make it fanciers, you can put some glitter and stickers on them. Let your little one’s imagination run free and wild and let him/her have fun.

Slime is something that every little kid likes. It’s gooey, slimy, and overall just fun. So instead of purchasing slime from the market. Let’s make some at home. That way, you are free to customize it as per your little ones wish. Baking soda, glue and saline all three mixed together will make a stretchy and gooey slime and that too in no time. Add some food coloring and glitter if you wish to. Not only does it make for a cute DIY but also the finished product will keep your little entertained for a long time.

Have a spare cardboard at home? Then you are in for an amazing treat. If your little ones love ball maze, lets make one at home. Just take a cardboard and some spiral cardboards and use your creativity combined with your little one’s enthusiasm. Block the way using the spiral cardboards creating a maze through which the ball can slip. This would make for an incredible activity for your little ones.

Just because we are trapped inside our houses doesn’t mean that we cannot have some fun. Let your kid inside you come out and play and revive those old memories watching your kid do the DIYs that you used to when you were their age.
