Our routine has been all over the place because of what has been happening around. Houses have transformed into offices and live meetings have been replaced by video calls. As much as we are trying to get used to the new normal, it has been difficult. Changing the routine that we have been following for years is tough but there are a few ways that can help us make this entire task easy.

Planning is the very first and also the most important step to start any new routine. Plan what is the first thing you want to do the next day or what work do you need to complete or anything that you like. Planning before-hand sorts out a lot of things.

Know your goals. Understand what work do you have and what work is pending that needs to be done. It could be anything from attending meetings to lectures to household, anything. Make sure that you know what needs to be done in the day. 

Make sure you have your meals on time. However busy you are, it is important to take care of yourselves and your meals. Never skip a meal and always take time out for them. This helps you be energized for the hectic day.

Take time out for yourselves. It is very easy to forget yourselves among the many things that you do. But make sure that you have some time to spare to take care of yourselves, to do the things that you enjoy, to just breathe and relax. It could be anytime of the day, morning, evening or night. But just a few minutes to yourself is very important.

Take some time out to spend with your close ones. It could be your family or your friends, but just someone with whom you feel at home. This will help you relax and just drain out all the frustration you have through the day.Include this simple “mantras” in your day-to-day life and you will see the difference. These simple ways are enough to form your daily quarantine routine peaceful and happy.
