Finding friends online worth it or a waste of time

Since the inception of social media, we have come across those people living in a different country. Without social media, it was not possible otherwise. Now the question arises, is it worth your time to make friends online, or is it not worth it because you end up neglecting the ones around you?

Generally, you will see introverted people find it more comforting to chat with strangers than gelling with the ones around them. • The solution: Always verifying the identity of someone you chat and share your feelings with is quite essential in this regard. Better to avoid sharing personal info and identity unless you don’t know who you are talking to. It is better to be safe than sorry. Taking precautions will help you avoid falling into the trap of a wrong person who could exploit your emotions.
