Amazing trailers of Average films

Movies are something that we all love watching. It is just an escape from our daily routine and gives us a much-needed dose of entertainment. But do we watch the movie directly? No! We often watch the trailer first and then decide if it is something that we are interested in. Trailers give us an insight into the film, and what it is going to be like. The trailer needs to be impressive, as only then will the audience be curious to watch it. There are a few trailers that were incredibly entertaining and amusing but, the final product didn’t impress much. Let’s have a look at some of those.

Thugs of Hindostan: This film was much-awaited as the perfectionist Amir Khan teamed up with the legend Amitabh Bachchan for the first time. The first look of the film was appreciated and the trailer seemed to impress the audience a lot. The effects looked spectacular and so did the cinematography. But the film surely doomed as the audience weren’t as impressed. The storyline was poor and so were the dialogues. It did not sit well with the audience and ended up getting a lot of criticism.
Kalank: This is another film that looked like a visual treat and a sheer spectacle from the trailer itself. It looked gorgeous and stunning as the cinematography was handled with perfection from what we could tell from the trailer. The star cast was fabulous as we had Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt, a hit pair from the 90’s pairing up after a long time. But the movie didn’t impress us at all. Madhuri and Sanjay barely had a scene together and the story didn’t make a lot of sense. It was dull and slow, failing to capture the attention of the audience.
Fan: This film was probably one of the most anticipated films of Shah Rukh Khan ever, as he was playing a dwarf in the film. The film was hyped to the point where people predicted it to be Shah Rukh’s best film to date. But the result wasn’t as satisfactory. The trailer was really interesting and funny, but it seemed to give a lot away. The acting was average and the storyline wasn’t put together. The story felt incomplete and failed to please the audience.
Jab Harry met Sejal: This film was surely a disaster at the box office as people highly criticized the film as well as the acting. The trailer was fun as we saw Shah Rukh play a very naughty and mischievous character that we hadn’t seen in a while. But the film didn’t live up to expectations as the story was extremely slow and boring. Anushka Sharma failed to impress the audience as her acting did not seem real. The Gujarati accent that she tried to portray didn’t seem to go down very well with the audience and many found it offensive.
