ASMR; relaxing to some, strange to others.

ASMR(Autonomous sensory meridian response) is that the term for the feeling people get once they watch stimulating videos or once they participate in other activities, usually activities that involve personal undivided attention. Many people describe the feeling as tingles running through the back of their head and spine. Others find the feeling as deeply relaxing, and can even cause them to fall asleep.

People get the feeling of ASMR from triggers. Some people enjoy videos in which someone whispers, while others like videos that show incredibly mundane tasks such as spraying a water bottle, stirring a bowl of soup, tapping or crinkling wrapping paper.

Another ASMR video sector is ASMR eating, many people are calmed and relaxed by seeing and hearing people eat and chew. In ASMR eating videos people may even chew in a exaggerated way or hold the mic very close to their mouths to properly pick up any and all sounds of chewing and swallowing food. Crunchy foods are a greater hit in some videos, people seem to enjoy the sound of crunching on fries or other crispy foods. ASMR also includes sounds of cleaning or typing, many people are calmed by simple sounds like tapping, typing and chewing.

AMSR videos have been pulling millions of views and seem to be getting popular at an exponential rate.
