The pandemic has put on hold out everyday normal routines and while the world is devastated a lot of us have staying indoors and doing nothing has become our biggest enemy. However, this time can be effectively utilised to do things that we didn’t have time for earlier. Any indoor hobbies you have ever wanted to indulge in, now is your chance. From Calligraphy to cooking, from meditation to  needle work, anything that helps you battle the lockdown blues and soothe your anxieties is a win! 

Depression and anxiety has been on the rise at an alarming rate during  to the lockdown period, choosing hobbies can combat some of the side effects that comes with being left alone with too much on your mind.

Being on lockdown, isolated from your friends and for some even family can be tough and take a serious toll on your mental health, in this situation not only is it ideal but it is also beneficial to do things, especially new things to take your mind off of the chaos and the restlessness that comes from being stuck within the same four walls of your home for too long, and concentrate on learning a new craft or honing an old skill that you previously did not have the luxury and time to practice.
