How KPOP completely changed the music industry game!

The music industry is very diverse with different types of kinds of music and cultures. The newly emerging trend in music is KPOP. KPOP has originated from Korea with a huge number of fans and has become a symbol of Korean pride. With its addictive tunes and synchronized dance movements, it has rapidly spread with the help of the internet and social media. Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter helped KPOP to grow and capture the hearts and minds of people all over the world.

How KPOP emerged?

In 2009, the first KPOP music video was published on Youtube by SM entertainment. It instantly started grabbing people’s attention on all social media platforms. This band started creating groups in various cities according to people’s interests. 

NCT(Neo Culture Technology) has encouraged the KPOP industry by creating different units and groups. The first NCT U was started in April 2006, one in Korea and the other in Chinese. These practices led to more number of Korean TV shows and music shows on SM entertainment. 

How KPOP emerged in the music industry?

BTS is a music band in Korea and their fans are known as US BTS A.R.M.Y. This group arranges events all over the world including events for social causes. Therefore they have created a large fan base which helped them soar in the music industry.

Social media made the KPOP community connect with people all over the world. When BTS was growing on YouTube, some media companies ran their channel. 

With the increment in BTS followers and fans, they made their copyrights and promotions free for fans. These are all the things that brought BTS to the music industry with a huge fanbase.
