How to sleep better at night.

“Sleep is the golden chain that ties health and our bodies together.”

Early to bed and early to rise is helpful to increase and boost your immunity system. Remember and follow this saying, “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise”. No one tries to figure out why they cannot sleep, but instead, they start taking medication. Rather than doing this let us try to understand the reason behind this.

Yoga, meditation, and exercise.

Let your body get tired. This will make you sleep quickly. Practice both yoga and exercise daily to keep your body strong and healthy. Always remember to meditate before going to sleep. This will make you sleep early.

Keep the bed for resting

Your bed is for rest and a nap. Never make it a workplace. 

Avoid caffeine 

Avoid drinks containing a high amount of caffeine. Never drink a tea or coffee before sleeping. Intake of a high amount of caffeine may lead to insomnia.

Do not stress or overthink 

Stress may lead to disturbance in sleep. So, avoid unnecessary stress and chill. At times overthinking may also act as a sleep barrier, so try to avoid it.

Avoid electronic devices

The most important point is that 15-20 minutes before sleeping, you must keep your electronic devices aside. The blue light emitted from their screens might distract your sleep. 

Change mattress

Remember to change your bedsheets daily before going to bed as it may contain bacteria and germs which might harm you. Keep a check on the mattress as well.

Use pillow

Try to use pillows that are not fat nor flat. Also don’t forget to change your pillow cover every 2 days. Use a soft pillow.

Try all the techniques mentioned above and go to bed early. It will help to sleep better at night.
