PARENTAL ROLE ON CHILDREN

The 2020 Coronavirus pandemic has significantly disrupted many areas, including education. With the rising number of Coronavirus cases, schools across the globe are shutting down. To support students in difficult times and make learning smooth, many schools have tied up with various Apps and Websites. These apps provide access to e-Learning content at home, which is convenient for the students.

E-Learning is a learning method using electronic technologies for the educational syllabus. It is delivering lectures online outside a traditional classroom. Teachers here teach with the help of presentations, videos, DVDs, and so on. Emails, live courses, and videoconferencing are all a part of E-Learning.

Students are always taught in schools that the usage of mobile phones is harmful. Schools prohibited the use of Cell phones on school premises. The situation has changed drastically now; education is taking place in mobiles and laptops. Sitting in front of a mobile screen for hours can damage the eye sights and brains of students. Here the parental role comes into the picture. Parents shouldn’t be dependent upon the teachers. Educational commitment is not only limited to the teachers; parents should realize this fact. It will help their children grow as well as nurture them. Parents should keep track of how long and for what purpose their children are using cellphones. So they are aware that they are being watched. Parents should motivate and support their children for their better performances. A child’s education is both parent’s and teacher’s responsibility.

Internet is a prominent place with no supervision. Children aren’t exposed to the outside big and bad world; they are naive. Many strangers can lure children. If you worry that your child will become addicted to the internet, then don’t be because you can stand between your child and the internet.
