Some ways to make your advertisement stand out

Grabbing enough attention to your product is not as easy as it seems. It is difficult and also tricky. The product that you advertise not be for everybody and also may not be liked by everybody so to grab their attention is quite a task. This is why we have advertisements. We all watch television and listen to radio, there are a lot of advertisements coming through but not every ad impresses us but not every ad disappoints us as well. There are a few advertisements that stand out in the pool of ads. What is so special about them? What so they do? How do they charm the people into buying their product? Let’s have a look.

Be Original: Something that is a must-have in any ad is originality. The audience must be able to distinguish your product as well as your ad from various other products and ad. Let us give you an example. You have 2 similar products, say Close-Up and Sensodyne. Both are tooth-pastes and both will have a similar target audience. Still, both of their advertisements seem different from one another and both of them stand out in their own way. Why so? Because none tried to copy each other off. The way they advertise is original and so different from one another that we cannot seem to mix them up.

Create a Tagline: We don’t even need to elaborate this point because it is self-explanatory. Creating a tagline of the brand helps in so many ways and can do wonders for the brand. Let’s take some examples. “Amul-The taste of India” or “Have a break-KitKat”, these taglines are on everyone’s lips and these brands are extremely popular. Why so? Because they advertised the product with the help of appealing taglines that caught people’s attention. This is a great way to make your advertisement stand out in the crowd. 

Creating a sense of urgency: Creating a sense of urgency grabs the attention of people so quickly making the advertisement stand out. Words like “offer valid till tomorrow” or “grab quickly before it runs out” grabs the attention of the potential customers in the most organic way possible. This technique might be simple but the effect that it has is quite evident. A lot of brands use call-to-action technique to stand out, which they end up doing as well.

Graphics: We will buy what we see. The advertisements must look a certain way. An advertiser must be clear of what he/she wants to show to the audience. Clarity of thought will be translated through graphics. It could be pictures or videos, clear and relatable content always wins people over and for that you need great graphics. Ensure that you pay attention to little details as it’s all that matters.

Jingles: Creating jingles is one technique that you can use to stand out. There are so many brands like “Nirma” and “Badshah Masala” that stood out because of their jingles. A quirky and addictive jingle will help your product go a long way and also will help it register quickly in the audience mind. Music anyway tends to get people interested and jingles would be the perfect addition to your advertisement. 

Provide Complete Information: A lot of brands do not give a lot of information regarding their product which is why you must do it as it will let your product and brand stick out. The audience finds it easier to go for products whose information is available and known. It creates a sense of trust for the brand which proves to be very beneficial in the longer run.
