The best new year’s resolutions you can make
It’s that time of the year where we dream big to achieve bigger things and hope to be the best version of ourselves. Since 2020 was the year of uncertainty and unpredictability, we all faced difficult times together. We could not achieve the goals that we had set at the end of 2019, but this year let’s try to keep our goals realistic and make efforts to turn them into reality.
Start taking care of yourself
Try to be fit to endure all the challenges and difficulties that lie ahead of this year. Get involved in some physical activities and meditation. You may start with 30 minutes full-body workout, go for walking or jogging, meditation exercise, start some hard-core training, and aim to level up your game and work towards being fit and healthy.
Make your health an utmost priority. Start following a proper diet and avoid eating a lot of junk or fast food. Consult a dietitian or a nutritionist before starting a particular diet plan. He/she will guide you to follow keto, intermittent fasting, paleo, and GM or whatever works best for you.
Drink more water
A lot of us don’t drink enough water in a day. And yet here we are, setting reminders to drink water but still not following it properly. Replace your highly caffeinated and acidic drinks with water. Get an attractive water bottle that will grab your attention. You can also add lemon, fruits, peppermint, or cucumber to make your water taste delicious and stay healthy.
Develop a habit of waking up early
Try to wake up early in the morning and do some mediation before starting your daily chores. Waking up early fuels your body and keeps it energized all day long.
Learn a skill
Pursue your hobbies and learn a new skill that you’re most interested in. You can start by cooking, arts and crafts, reading, writing, or anything that makes you happy.
Be thankful for whatever you have in your life and live your life to the fullest. Try not to avoid the most important things in your life like friends and family, to achieve growth. Express love, emotions, and all the feelings you have towards your loved ones, and be kind to everyone.
Additionally, you can spend some quality time with your friends and family, read books, read the newspaper every morning, make yourself aware of current afairs , maintain a journal and inculcate sustainable practices in your day-to-day life.
