Why fitting the mold isn’t always the best

Humans are accustomed to habitual behavior and daring to do different is often frowned upon or looked down upon. As every individual is different from one another so are our thinking abilities, perception, problem-solving capacities, and reactions. But still, somehow, society forces us to the same, think and act similarly and respond in a monotonous format. This ends up creating missed opportunities, lack of creativity, and no progress whatsoever. The sense of uniqueness gets lost in the abyss so one needs to break out of these social dictations and ‘not fit the mold’ for an instance.

Success does not follow those who take comfortable paths but comes to those who dare to leap. The change might be scary and the journey might seem difficult but the destination is definitely worth the hardships. People who thought alike couldn’t bring in change, but the people who dared to be different challenged the world. All inventions in history are proof that mediocrity doesn’t create geniuses, standing out does. Vivid imaginations give birth to crazy ideas and then innovation happens.

The mold might seem like the easy way to go, a tried and tested solution for all kinds of problems and a more socially accepted norm while breaking through might seem unknown, risky, and dreadful, the result would always be a history lesson, a stepping stone towards a bigger goal regardless of the success or failure that might be achieved at the end of it. Crossing lines, making new boundaries, and thinking out of the box enables people to strive for betterment. That’s what makes human beings different from other creatures, the struggle to evolve in a better self, the attempt to create something that would change the set structures while focusing on evolution and not just survival.
