Why mobbing celebrities is absolutely inhumane

Celebrities are public figures, yes but they are not public property and this needs to be understood. There are times when people, even though celebrities need their space and paparazzi should give them that. Celebrities are humans at the end of the day, and the way they are mobbed is absolutely inhumane and inacceptable.

For us, space is a necessity and for celebrities, space has become a luxury. They are constantly surrounded by paparazzi that are waiting for one look of them. It doesn’t matter if they are happy, sad, tired or scared, they need to smile for the camera. Expecting the celebrities to smile for the camera even if they don’t feel like it and then calling them fake is not right in any way.

We might have all seen the videos where the celebrities are mobbed so bad, that they also have injured themselves. They are celebrities and people do want them to click a picture of them and with them and are curious about their lives, but they are individuals who need some space and privacy and invading their personal space is not fair.

Imagine getting off a 24-hour flight after working continuously for days and being surrounded by a crowd that wants you to answer questions and take pictures with them, wouldn’t that be hectic. We just assume they are arrogant and take their work for granted if they don’t respond but that’s no the case. It is completely normal for a person to get irritated if he/she is constantly being watched and judged on everything.

Every job is difficult, it has its set of problems and struggles that we might not be aware of because we have not been there. Believing that, just because they are celebrities, known and people’s person doesn’t give anyone the right to invade and enter their personal space. Everyone must draw a line and boundary, after which one cannot interfere nor enter. Mobbing celebrities is inhumane and unacceptable as it not just affects them physically but mentally too.
