Celebrities Or A Fail Entrepreneur
Every entrepreneur knows the satisfaction of running their business. Though the process requires a lot of patience, focus, determination, and of course, a good idea. We all are familiar that many celebrities have their ventures like Salman Khan’s Being Human, Sunny Leone’s Starstruck, Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, and many more. These are some successful ventures that have acquired their target market. While some celebrities have seen their ventures failing, such as:
- Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and Arnold Schwarzenegger- Planet Hollywood, an emblem of failed business projects by celebrities. The themed restaurant chain failed because of the sheer star power behind it. As Planet Hollywood debuted, Stallone, Willis, Moore, and Schwarzenegger were all more or less at the peak of their careers.
- Ameesha Patel- She started her career with some amazing blockbusters like Kaho Na Pyar Hai and Gadar. But after numerous flops, she started her production house named Desi Magic. Although we have not seen any movie from her production house. Thus, we can say that it was not so profitable for her.
- The Kardashian Sisters- Some deals just seem to be off from the beginning. the Kardashian women, queens of conspicuous spending because they could afford it, issuing a pre-paid debit card targeted to young adults. And then Richard Blumenthal, the Connecticut attorney general, looked into the “Kardashian Kard” and learned it was something more than just a bad idea.
- Lara Dutta- The Miss Universe, made an entry in Bollywood with the film Andaz, which was a big hit. Despite giving several hits, her career didn’t take the right direction in Bollywood. After getting married, she started her production company named Big Daddy and released a film called ‘Chalo Dilli’ that has good reviews but the film didn’t do well in the box office. Since then we have not seen anything else produced by her production house. After a while, she launched a line of sarees named Chhabra 555 that didn’t gain much success.
These celebrities did some great films, though they certainly didn’t have a business-oriented mind. We must appreciate and remember them for good movies that they have performed brilliantly instead.
