Great ways to keep your child active while social distancing and staying at home.

Getting your children up from bed other than their online lectures can be quite a task this pandemic. Normally, the children would go out to play with their friends and have the time of their lives but now the situation is a little different. Neither can the children go out nor can they physically meet their friends to play. But there are other ways to keep then active while social distancing and following all the protocols.

First, as parents take an initiative and take out some family time. Play with them, teach them how to cook, talk to them, tell them stories. This, not only will keep them busy and active but will also tighten the bond you have as a family. 

Play indoor games like ludo, chess, dumb-charades or snakes and ladders. The options are endless with endless fun. Because of the social media and video games that are now easily available in the market, children do not play board or card games anymore. This is the perfect opportunity to make them familiar with these games and make them fall in love with them as well.

Make them dance to all the popular songs and dance with them. You read it right. Dancing is such a fun activity. Not only does it keep the body fit but also keeps one entertained for hours on end. Just put on some nice music and go for it. Let the Michael Jackson in you come out and show them the moves. 

Virtual classes are yet another way to keep them busy and also help them learn something new. Internet is great and allows everyone to learn something new every day. Ask your little one about his/her interests and let them learn what they want to. Now, they have a new activity as well as a new hobby. Isn’t that amazing.
