Over-saturation of content in the media.

We live in a day and age of media, where it has become a huge part of the society and also our lives. Be it digital media or traditional media, it is all widely and profoundly used and has become a part and parcel of our daily lives. It is incredible how media is forming and shaping our views and opinions and we are completely okay with it.

Coming to over-saturation, it refers to the content being published. What over-saturation tends to do is loose reality and focus of the entire news. It loses its charm, its distinction and also its value and ends up becoming just “another” news which is not what the audience demands or crave for. We see a lot of similar things happening on media and nothing really excites anymore because we don’t get to see the reality anymore. It has become more about the views and TRP rather than pure content.

Through media, we now have the opportunity to express ourselves more and put forth our thoughts and opinions but are we making use of that? Think about it and you will get the answer yourselves. There is never an alternative for effort and hard-work. If one puts effort into creating an honest concept and putting it forward, people will like it and accept it but it is almost as if we have become a part of the rat-race which is not something media is meant for.

Social Media has given rise to so many opportunities where we have the liberty to create something extraordinary and out of the box but we are stuck in a specific zone and don’t want to come out of it. Being creative is a very important factor that affects our content. There are already a lot of similar things being made, if you follow the same, you are likely to get lost in the crowd. If being creative and different will make one stand out in the crowd. It’s like, the page is colored in red, but a little of orange always stands out. That’s the power of being different.

There are ways to communicate without losing the plot and the message, one needs to identify that and stick to that. Over-saturation of content in media is common but you are not, remember that.
