A company is made from the blood and sweat of many people and it is important to keep the company safe at all times. It is also important to maintain a connect with the audience and to not let the people down who believe in your company.

It is normal for any company to make mistakes. They naturally tend to happen. But it is very important that you own up to the mistake or blunder done by your company. Owning up to a mistake is very important as it doesn’t keep people in a dark place. And as an important part for your company, the people ought to know everything. It is mostly up to the owner or the entrepreneur of the company that he/she comes forward and takes responsibility of the mistake. Agreeing to mistakes is an important aspect for brand build as well as to maintain public relations.

For instance, when there were worms found in the very famous Cadbury chocolates, they were quick to own up to their mistake and did not keep their customers in a dark place. They agreed that it was a mistake on their part and that they would rectify it as soon as possible. They then went on to make an advertising with Amitabh Bachchan showing people how Cadbury’s chocolates are being manufactured currently.
