The age-old iPhone vs Android debate.

Mobile phones today are such an integral part of our lives today. It is almost like we feel handicapped without a mobile phone. Mobiles have brought everything down to the touch of a finger. Today a phone with newer technology is released every hour, and we, as phone addicts are always thinking of upgrading into a better mobile phone.

We take so many things into consideration while buying a new phone. Its processor, camera, charger, version, touch etc. everything matters to us. Here is where one major aspect for phones comes into picture. The constantly running question- whether it is an iPhone or an Android phone? This has led to a debate as to which phone is better. There are people who firmly believe that there is nothing better than an iPhone and then there are people who believe iPhones are only money-making devices and Android phones are equally better.

This has turned to be an age-old debate which is not seeming to end. A sense of superiority is said to be prevailing in people who own iPhones. But are they really worth every penny that we pay? Certainly not. In my opinion, iPhones today have become just “trend” more than anything else. No doubt the phones are good, but in the recent past Apple has been producing similar phones with one or two changed features. But the prices differ vehemently. Just recently, Apple launched iPhone 12 where in you had to buy the charger separately and would not get it with the phone itself like you usually do. Apple also faced a lot of backlash because of this idea and they covered it up by saying they were helping the environment by reducing E-waste. iPhone definitely has its own benefits, like its touch is unparalleled and no phone has been able to come even close. Its phone camera is also worth spending on.

Now, for Android phones, they are definitely improving their standards with each passing day. Today, Android phones offer cameras to die for. A plus for Android is also that you get many options to choose from. And as considered, Android phones are not always cheap or weak on performance. A OnePlus today is a close competitor to the iPhone. There new Android phones being launched everyday and you can easily choose the one which fits your pocket. Its not like Android phones are the best, they also come with their own problems. Like the processor of Android phones is a little behind as compared to the iPhone. Because a few Android phones are very cheap, they tend to get spoiled and their lifespan is very short. Certain Android producing brands have also faced backlash for copying the entire interface from an iPhone.

The question stills remains, which one is better? And the answer is quite simple, to each his own. People should buy a phone which they like and can afford. You shouldn’t buy a phone just because it is trending. Any phone will last you long if used correctly. So, whose side are you on?
