Top noodle dishes battle of the best

There is no clear winner in this battle. It is just impossible to choose the best way to have noodles as they come in so many sizes, textures, toppings, condiments, etc. Noodles are prepared differently all over the world using different techniques and ingredients native to the area. They represent the culture and history of the land they belong to, so they are all special in their own ways. However, there are some famous noodle dishes from all around the world that people swear by like China’s “Reganmian” which originates from Wuhan, the capital of central China’s Hubei province. This delicious noodle dish has a long history of over eighty years in traditional Chinese food culture. These hot dry noodles are typically a breakfast treat that is commonly served by street-side carts. Cheap, filling, hot and meaty sounds like the best combination for a complete meal! 

Japanese ramen has been engraved in history with the most plausible theory stating it was brought to Japan by Chinese immigrants who introduced wheat noodles to them in the Yokohama Chinatown. Japan made it their own and now Japanese ramen is known all over the world. From pork, chicken, or beef bone broth to spicy chilly flavored or a simple soy sauce base stock, the noodles are drenched in these delicious flavors. Unlike most Chinese noodles, ramen comes with its very own stock or soup base which is the star of the show! They even have a museum dedicated to ramen and its rich history!

Created by Thailand’s very own Prime Minister in the 1930s, Pad Thai is the most famous noodle dish originating from Thailand. This noodle dish has an important historical and political background with it being made from different ingredients from different countries to show the amalgamations of different nations together in a political sense. Served by almost all street food vendors, this noodle dish is a perfect combination of sweet, sour, salty and spicy made into one noodle dish that is topped with sprouts and peanuts!
