TV shows worth re-watching over and over again

There’s a truck-load of a lot of new websites to get through these days, with hundreds of scripted programs being produced every year and everyone possesses an offbeat recommendation.

Many-a-times, something novel cannot compete with something timeless, especially having been through the Golden Era of TV. Instead of wasting your evening mulling over what new show to start, scrolling through the Netflix screen and not choosing anything or taking a leap, you can put something classic on. Such as:

a) FRIENDS – FRIENDS has been one of the longest-running, feel-good series in the history of American broadcasting. It gives you a wholly delightful experience. It is filled with the most iconic guest stars, evergreen recurring characters, and the funniest one-liners. Every character in this show does what they wish to do, and more importantly, how they desire to do it. This show permits you to visualize and savor that life with your friends that say “I’ll be there for you” and mean it.

b) Gilmore Girls -Broadcasting on the WB network and concentrating on a mother-daughter connection, Gilmore Girls never really got the appreciation it deserved for its top-notch productions and whip-fast, pop-culture-filled remarks. That program does take a dip in quality during its seventh season – something majorly put right by Netflix’s resurrection – but up until then, it is pure enjoyment filled viewing, tailor-made for lying on the sofa with a giant mug of coffee.

c) The Simpsons- This show barely requires an introduction. The 32 seasons of the show gift us about six hundred of the most outrageously witty, complex, clever, and purely glorious pop-culture episodes ever put on a screen. The episodes are jam-packed with cryptic information and gags you’ll miss as a child or those that go over your head, the personas are all incredible, and no matter how many times you watch the show, the best episodes just never cease to be a delight.

d) The Vampire Diaries – The Vampire Diaries is an American fictional and supernatural teen sketch television show produced by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the classic book series by L. J. Smith. It is based on a fictional town called Mystic Falls in Virginia where a teenage girl Elena falls in love with a 162-year-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore and how their relationship gets rocky when his older brother Damon Salvatore returns to town.
