Some discontinued products that still live in the people’s hearts

The generation Z is all cool now but there was a sense of peace in the early days. The late 90’s and the early 2000’s era was probably the most complete era. Be it those soulful Lucky Ali songs or those Pepsi colas. There was something special then that no technology can ever bring back. There were a lot of products that we used then that we loved but our future generation wouldn’t be able to enjoy now. Let’s dive back into some nostalgia and have a look at some of the products that may have been discontinued but will forever rule our hearts.

Phantom Sweet Cigarettes: Everyone is a gangster until the real one arrives. This is one such candy. Let’s be real, we all pretended to be the scariest gangsters while chewing on these. Not only were they ultra-cool and made us all feel like we were big-shots but these were also very tasty and delicious. A candy that is sadly gone but will forever stay in our hearts.

Bytes: Our future generation will never know what satisfaction tastes like. These Cadbury Bytes were something that we loved and thoroughly miss. Bytes was discontinued as it wasn’t raising enough profit. While a lot of companies did try and make these, none of those came close. It is like how much ever you try a remake would be a remake and classic will stay one forever.

Pepsi Blue: Remember those hot summer days with a bottle of blue Pepsi in hand. Those were the days that we are reminiscing now. Unlike the Pepsi that we get now that is making a huge profit, Pepsi Blue didn’t make enough which is why it got discontinued. Even though it got discontinued it was well-appreciated when it was there.

Cadbury Dairy Milk (Wowie): You would be lying if you say you don’t miss the iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk Wowie. Silk and Bubbly are okay, but the joy of eating wowie was something no chocolate can match. It has different characters drawn on with white chocolate that we used to peel off and eat separately. The nostalgia hits differently. Only if we could taste this one more time.

A lot of products may come and go, but some products are just special. It is not about the flavour or the packaging, it’s about the sheer nostalgia and the memories that one has, that are attached to these products. Since now a lot of new brand and things are coming up, but earlier the products were limited which is why everyone bonded on those things creating a sense of nostalgia.
